Continuous-Valued Cellular Automata for Simulation of Thermomechanical Processes

Background

The aim of the project is extension of cellular automata for the simulation of thermomechanical processes. In the base of the method lies an idea that each element of a continuum can be considered as a cell, state of which is determined as a point in Gibbsian state (phase) space. The offered algorithm is rather the tool for the direct simulation of a process than for the solution of partial differential equations.
